I love my original beauty blender and a long the way I have tried other sponges that have popped up but never found any that completely dupe the sponge. The closest I've found is the Real Techniques sponge, which I do love. I have a couple back ups of the BeautyBlender currently as I picked them up on sale but when their time is up I won't purchase again, (unless there on sale...maybe) I will just stick with the Real Techniques.
So with that being said, there is no way I could ever imagine spending $18 on two little bitty sponges, that seems extortionate to me. Especially since the original works perfectly fine for concealer. I have heard a lot of rave reviews but I still just couldn't make the purchase. Then as luck would have it I went to Walmart and someone had set down a pack of Swisspers Blending Mini Sponges. They weren't on their shelf but I knew they should be with the other beauty tools. I would have never noticed them though because they were tucked away on the bottom shelf, not hanging. I checked the price $2.98, so I thought yeah I'll give them a try.
Smart move! I brought them home and immediately wanted to see if they would expand with water and they do. When dry they feel a little more dense but after you wet they are practically identical to the regular BeautyBlender. I'm going to purchase a second pack before they are discovered and sale out lol. So if you already love the micro.mini or if you have just been wanting to try it I totally recommend picking these little beauties up.
