New Wet N Wild Products 2016 Part 2

As mentioned in the title this is part 2 of my Wet N Wild 2016 Product roundup, if you like to see part 1 you can click HERE

New Wet N Wild Products 2016

I'm always looking out of new items to trickle in to my local stores and on my last couple of trips I've managed to snag up a few more items.

As mentioned in part 1 I really like the 1 Step Wonder Gel polish and wanted to pick up more shades. I picked up Pardon My Peach as I thought it would be great for Spring and Summer. I have to say I'm actually pretty disappointed in this shade. It applied two coats and could not get it even and not streaky. Anymore than two coats is just a hassle to me. I know that is a little bratty but its how I feel. With that being said, I do absolutely love the shade and will most likely continue to try it, maybe I'll give it a try on the toes.

Wet N Wild MegaGlo Illuminating Palette Catwalk Pink New and Old

Wet N Wild MegaGlo Illuminating Palette Catwalk Pink New and Old

Next is one of the items I didn't think I would purchase, its the MegaGlo Illuminating Palette in Catwalk Pink, the reason I wasn't going to purchase is because I already own the original. But Wet N Wild was 40% off at Rite Aid last week and I just went ahead to see what the "new formula" was like. Also because it was so hard for me to find the original I kind of wanted a back up. The two are actually quite different. The new formula is a little more pigmented but also more shimmery. I do like that the new version is in a larger pan so you can pick up the individual strips easier if you want. But I do prefer the old formulas color. But I'm still glad I picked it up and I will get use out of it.

Wet N Wild PhotoFocus Eyeshadow Primer

I also picked up the PhotoFocus Eyeshdadow Primer, this is nice. It doesn't go tacky it actually blends out to more of a powdery finish. Even though it has a beige tint it does not cover any of the redness or veins on my eyelids. Besides that it does the trick, it holds the eyeshadow in place. Even though I don't have oily lids I do have hooded lids and sometimes I do struggle with creasing, but that hasn't been an issue with this primer. I think I will continuously purchase this item as it does the job at a low price.

Wet N Wild PhotoFocus Lash Primer

In the same PhotoFocus line is the Lash Primer. This I am not so fond of. I find that it makes my mascara flake throughout the day. Also, I'm not sure what it is or why it may be but this does irritate my eyes as well. They are fairly sensitive but I don't normally have a problem with mascaras. I don't see any fibers in the formula but something in it just doesn't agree with me.

Wet N Wild Color Icon Blush Apri-Cot in the Middle

I picked up another shade of the new Color Icon blushes in Apri-Cot in the Middle. Looking at this in the pan I was worried about how it would look on my fair skin as it looks pretty dark but when you apply it on the cheeks its just a beautiful luminous peachy shade. Love, love, love.

Wet N Wild Max Volume Plus Waterproof Mascara

And then lastly I picked up the max Volume Plus Waterproof Mascara. This is okay, and if your in a pinch or on a budget this is a good option. Its not my favorite but I did find that it gave me pretty good volume. It didn't do any sort of lengthening for me personally. I do like the shape of the want as it makes it easy to get into the corners and also apply to the lower lash line. It is waterproof but if you rub your eyes this will flake off. I would repurchase but again if your in a pinch its not the worst.

I'm still hoping to get my hands on some of the 10 shadow palettes that are exclusive to Walmart, my doesn't carry them unfortunately, and also the Come Correct concealer oh an also the Illumi-naughty highlighting pen. If you have tried those I would love to your your thoughts. :)
