Josie Maran Vibrancy Foundation

Josie Maran Vibrancy Foundation

I picked up the Josie Maran Vibrancy Foundation solely because Jaclyn Hill recommended it. I trust her opinion on just about everything. We have similar skin types, dry as I've mentioned a million times lol. She mentioned this in her favorites video were she said her friends, one with dry skin and one with oily skin, loved it and that's why she tried it and loved it.
While I do not LOVE this product. The shade is fantastic for pale skin and I can make it work, but my skin has to be just so. I'll explain. If I have any sort of texture or dry patches on my skin this foundation just settles weird. It clings to dry patches then it separates. I did not find one primer that it worked with for me. I was only able to moisturize and leave it for 10 minutes to settle, than go in with this foundation for a nice finish. Even then it will emphasize dry patches. The coverage is a light medium, if you build it up it will set heavy on the skin. Also, this transferred quite a bit, just when barely touching my skin.

Its just overall not worth the price tag in my opinion. I much prefer some of my drugstore foundations that I have been trying lately. Also, I purchased this from QVC which is why it has a brush, while it is a good brush, not for this foundation. It left streak marks all through the foundation and I couldn't get a good blend. And the last big let down for me was that there is zero spf in this foundation. Which I suppose is good for pictures but I didn't spend the price tag to only wear this for pictures.

Anyway, those are my thoughts on this foundation. If you have any questions please feel free to ask below. Sorry I've been away for a while, I've just been enjoying this beautiful summer and I hope you have too! =)
